Before purchase: confirm the exact part, source requirements, inspection scope, commercial terms, and any approved alternatives in writing.
01. Website and sourcing services
These terms cover your use of ace-ic.com and component sourcing inquiries made through this website. In these terms, “ACE Components,” “we,” and “us” refer to the ACE Components business presented on this website.
Our sourcing services include electronic components procurement, hard-to-find and end-of-life parts, BOM cost review, and alternative component evaluation for business customers. A website listing or an inquiry does not, by itself, create a purchase contract.
02. Product information and availability
Catalog entries, manufacturer references, datasheets, stock indications, prices, and lead times support sourcing decisions. Confirm current availability and the exact purchasing conditions with us before placing an order. Stock and lead times can change before an order is accepted.
Manufacturer names and trademarks identify products. A brand listing does not establish an authorized distributor relationship. Check current manufacturer documentation for specifications and lifecycle information.
03. RFQs, BOMs and customer instructions
For a request for quotation (RFQ), provide the manufacturer part number (MPN), manufacturer, quantity, and delivery requirement. For a bill of materials (BOM), identify which line items allow alternative parts.
- State required packaging, date codes, lot restrictions, source preferences, and traceability documents.
- Identify inspection, testing, certification, and end-use requirements before we quote.
- Send only files and information that you are authorized to share. Remove unrelated personal or confidential information.
A form receipt or thank-you page confirms receipt of an inquiry. It does not confirm a price, reserve stock, accept an order, or confirm that every attachment was received. If an attachment is important to the request, ask us to confirm receipt.
04. Quotations and order agreement
The written quotation and accepted order should identify the contracting parties, exact parts, quantities, currency, price, quotation validity, payment conditions, delivery terms, and any agreed inspection or documentation.
Minimum order quantities, pack quantities, and any non-cancellable or non-returnable conditions must be addressed in the written purchasing agreement. Do not assume that a website listing or an RFQ includes these conditions.
Order changes and cancellations require written agreement. If an accepted written order agreement conflicts with these general website terms, the specific order agreement governs that purchase, subject to applicable law.
05. Alternative parts and technical approval
A cross-reference or alternative suggestion is a candidate for review. It is not a guarantee of interchangeability, regulatory approval, or suitability for a particular application.
Compare electrical ratings, package and footprint, operating conditions, reliability needs, and required approvals. The customer must complete the necessary engineering review and validation before approving an alternative for production. Record any approved substitution in the written order.
06. Quality, inspection and claims
Agree the required source information, inspection scope, testing, traceability, and acceptance criteria before purchase. Additional electrical or third-party testing must be included in the agreed scope when required.
Warranty coverage, claim procedures, return conditions, and remedies depend on the accepted written order and applicable law. This website does not set a standard warranty duration or a fixed claim deadline.
If a concern arises, contact us with the order reference, part number, quantity affected, lot or date code, and supporting evidence. Keep the parts and packaging available for review. Arrange any return with us before shipment.
07. Delivery and trade requirements
Delivery estimates and shipping responsibilities must be confirmed for each order. Agree the delivery term, destination, freight charges, insurance, duties, taxes, and required documents in writing.
Customers must provide accurate destination and end-use information and comply with applicable import, export, and trade restrictions. Requirements that affect sourcing or shipment must be disclosed before order acceptance.
08. Customer files and intellectual property
You retain your rights in the BOMs, specifications, and other material you provide. Sending material permits us to use it to assess and respond to your request and to carry out any agreed sourcing work; it does not transfer ownership.
If your request needs an NDA or special restrictions on supplier disclosure, agree those conditions with us before sending restricted material. Personal information is addressed in our Privacy Policy.
Website content and third-party trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights. Do not reproduce protected material without the necessary permission.
09. Responsible website use and external services
Do not submit unlawful material, malicious files, misleading inquiries, or information you have no right to disclose. Do not interfere with website security or attempt unauthorized access.
External websites, manufacturer documents, messaging services, and file-sharing services have their own terms and policies. Review them when you use those services.
Website access and third-party information may be interrupted or contain errors. Confirm information that is material to a purchasing decision. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
10. Questions, disputes and updates
For questions about these terms or an order, email bill@ace-ic.com and include the relevant inquiry or order reference. We can review the issue and discuss a resolution.
Any agreed governing law or dispute procedure belongs in the applicable written contract. These website terms do not select a jurisdiction or an arbitration forum.
We may update these website terms. The date above identifies this version. A website update does not by itself change an already accepted written order agreement.
